Tactical Names is run by Hey Genie LLC. By creating an account or paying for a plan you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What the service is
Tactical Names reads GoDaddy's public daily file of expiring auction names, screens every name, and shows you the ones worth a look with a verdict (Ignore, Flip or Build), a bid estimate, a walkaway price and exit estimates. You can keep your own lists, mark names, record what you bid and what happened, and ask an advisor questions about what is on screen.
Everything the desk says about a name is an estimate produced by software from the inputs it has. It is not financial, legal or investment advice, and it is not a promise that any name will sell, or sell for any price. Auction prices, bids and end times come from GoDaddy's file as of the time stamped on the desk; the live auction is on GoDaddy. Trademark and history checks are limited to the sources named on each card. You are responsible for your own bids, purchases and renewals.
Your account
You sign in with an email link. Keep your email account secure and do not share sign-in links. One account is for one person. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
Plans and billing
The desk is paid only. Scout is $39 a month or $390 a year. Pro is $129 a month or $1,290 a year. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that applies where you live. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card number.
Plans renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from Manage billing on the You page. Your plan stays on until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again. We do not refund partial periods unless the law where you live requires it. If a payment fails, Stripe retries it; if it keeps failing, the desk closes until it is paid.
We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. A price change applies from your next renewal after the notice.
Fair use
You may use the desk for your own domain investing. You may not resell, scrape, bulk export or republish the screened lists, verdicts or estimates; share an account; try to get around plan limits; probe or attack the service; or use the advisor for anything other than questions about names and your desk. Advisor messages are limited per day by plan. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
Your data
Your lists, marks, bids, outcomes and portfolio entries are yours. We use them only to run your desk, including tuning the fit score shown to you. How we handle personal data is in the privacy policy.
Availability
The daily list depends on GoDaddy publishing its file. If the file is late, missing or unchanged, the desk says so instead of inventing data. We aim to keep the service up but do not promise any uptime, and we may change or stop features. We will give notice before shutting the service down.
Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost opportunities, the outcome of any auction, or indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service at any time and cancel your plan. We may close an account that breaks these terms. On closure, your paid access ends and your data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are announced by email before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Hey Genie LLC is organized. Questions go to support@tacticalnames.com.
